All Wedding Ceremonies, from whatever faith or culture, are steeped in tradition, ranging from Ceremonial procedure and etiquette to superstition and myth, and all have come down through the generations, over many centuries.

Every Wedding is different, thus certain circumstances may prompt a couple to tailor their Ceremony to their own distinctive situation.

This is a time to rejoice and to celebrate. It is an occasion that reflects your love, embraces your family and friends, and marks the beginning of your journey together through life.

I would be happy to help you to achieve this. Call or email me with the planned date so that I may confirm my availability. Also, I would be happy to arrange an obligation free meeting in a relaxed and friendly environment. This can be arranged at a mutually convenient time and place. Usually at my Chermside West office.

I also suggest an alternative to the Registry Office Wedding.

For a similar fee to the Registry Office I will conduct a short legally binding Ceremony at my residence, as seen to the right, or anywhere within the 4032 postcode, surrounded by your closest family.

This cost effective option has proved to be extremely popular, especially with Elopements, where a couple wish for an intimate ceremony with just their two witnesses.

You can also choose from a wide range of Ceremonies, which is not available in the Registry Office format.

Whatever Ceremony you are planning, there is a special charm in using vows that have echoed down through the centuries, either repeating the traditional wording, or taking elements from established formats and personalizing them for a more contemporary slant.

A booklet has been compiled from which you may select your Ceremony, perhaps these sentiments, handed from one generation to another, will help to inspire you to express everything you may wish to say in your own way.

Ideally, you and your Celebrant would complete and sign the Notice of Intended Marriage form. This form must be lodged with your Celebrant, by law, one month and one day prior to your Wedding Day. Alternatively, this form can be downloaded, and brought to me for lodgment, thereby taking the hassle out of your preparations.

The Bride and Groom need to provide their full birth certificates /current overseas Passport and any divorce/death certificate that might apply to previous partners.

My fee includes the following::

  • Attending and officiating at your Ceremony
  • Preparation of all legal documents plus lodgement the day after the Wedding
  • A Ceremony tailored to your specific needs and wishes
  • Providing various poems and readings for your selection in Booklet form
  • Two meetings to plan and arrange your Ceremony
  • A rehearsal if required
  • Telephone calls/email messages
  • Providing a state of the art PA system
  • A copy of your Ceremony as a keepsake
  • Complimentary Commemoration Certificate
